R. Bruce Jenkins Jr

Job Functions: Bruce has served as Assistant Vice President of ERM for Reliance Standard since 2017. Over the past three years, he has spent the majority of time building out risk management programs and structures. The first year of his tenure he took a Model Governance “policy” and evolved it into an industry-standard Model Governance program. His second year of tenure saw him take the existing Vendor Governance policy and use this as the foundation to roll-out and execute a robust vendor governance framework including the conceptualization of new processes and the use of updated technologies. Most recently, Mr. Jenkins was charged with the creation of an Operational Risk Management framework for RSL, including the strategy, execution and implementation of policies, procedures, tools and company training. Hobbies/Interests/Personal information: Bruce s a resident of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania where he lives with his wife Kristen and their daughter Olivia. He enjoys United States history, particularly the Revolutionary and Civil War time- periods and also has an active life where he plays goalie in ice hockey and golf. Bruce earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Marketing from Millersville University and his Master is Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from Drexel University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laud and is also Six Sigma Green Belt trained. He also serves on several nonprofit boards in his community, including holding an Executive Board position as Treasurer.
