Job Function: AVP within the Sports and Recreation Division and Public Service Division.

Goals for the Next Gen Program: Brian’s goals in participating in the Next Generation Leadership Program are to develop new skills, create better business habits, experience new methods to problem solving and growing his network of business relationships. Hobbies/Interests/Personal information: Brian R. Himmer joined PHLY in 2006 as an Underwriting Trainee in the Sports and Recreation Division. Prior to joining PHLY, Brian participated in the American Re internship program in Princeton, NJ and was placed in their treaty reinsurance accounting department. In 2013 he was promoted to Underwriting Supervisor and assumed management of multiple sports and fitness products. He was promoted to Product Manager in 2014, Assistant Vice President in 2017 and is responsible for over $250M of premium. Brian received a BS in Marketing from Salisbury University where he also studied one semester at the renowned Grenoble Ecole de Management, located in Grenoble, France. Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, particularly at the beach in addition to playing basketball and lacrosse in his free time.
